HCS Launched A New Graphene Enhanced 3D Print Wire

The famous graphene enterprises, London listed Haydale Graphene Industries (HGI) a wholly owned subsidiary of Haydale Composite Solutions (HCS) before the date announced with thermoplastic 3D printing wire manufacturer Filamentprint company and Fullerex company cooperation, promotion and sales of graphene reinforced polylactic acid (PLA) for 3D wire printing applications.

It is reported that the graphene enhanced PLA wire, 1.75 mm, 2.85 mm diameter two specifications are available, the wire has excellent first layer adhesion and Z axis strength retention rate, faster processing speed, improved strength and excellent performance, the surface effect and improve the dimensional accuracy and other characteristics. More importantly, the material can be compatible with a wide range of 3D printers, has several 3D printing company conducted a trial and received a positive evaluation.

HCS managing director Gerry Boyce said: "we are very excited to be able to print 3D application development of graphene reinforced thermoplastic materials. With the advantages of these new materials, including the ability to make parts harder, stronger, faster! All the time, the printing speed is 3D printing technology to hinder the large-scale application of obstacles. Being able to directly manufacture according to CAD structural components let us very exciting future prospects."

In addition to the launch of its first commercial graphene reinforced PLA wire, the company is also being studied include ABS, nylon and PP (polypropylene) materials, graphene enhanced 3D print wire. In addition, the two companies can also be based on customer needs to develop customized graphene reinforced thermoplastic material, to meet specific product requirements.

Haydale chief executive Ray Gibbs said: "our products have obtained excellent results in the trial process, it makes us believe that we are ready for the rapid growth of the world market."
